Hours :
8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Leads and coordinates activities of the maintenance staff engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of assigned developments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Schedules and provides training to maintenance staff. Ensures all maintenance staff is trained properly. Directs workers engaged in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings. Coordinate scheduling of the Maintenance Staff on a weekly basis, after receiving maintenance requests from scattered sites, schedule with the Maintenance Team repairs as necessary. Ensures sites have proper inventory tools, equipment, and supplies. Inspect and supervise completed work for conformance to Barker Management Incorporated specifications, and standards. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Interprets Barker Management Incorporated, policies to Maintenance Team and enforces safety regulations. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Confers with Regional Manager to determine priority of job scheduling. Inspects building prior to government agency, lender, investor or other scheduled inspections and make recommendations to Supervisor on maintenance issues. Reviews jobs in the field to determine scope of work. Evaluates scope of work and bids by outside vendors. Ensures work is completed according to scope and of high quality. Performs actual work as deemed necessary, to insure the work is finished on a timely basis. Provides support to manager in communicating with maintenance staff. Maintains inventory lists of tools and equipment at each site. Schedule and perform inspections on the properties with the Resident Manager's. Participate in site physical inspections as required.
Other Responsibilities :
Other duties as assigned. The Maintenance Lead is required to perform his assigned duties for the development during a forty (40) hour work-week. Hours are to be worked from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one hour lunch break daily. As Maintenance Lead you are responsible to work when needed after normal business hours or on weekends in response to emergency situations or special events.
