Cheese Maintenance Group Leader
Wage Scale:
$44.78 (Break in rates and $0.75 cents differential pay from 6PM - 5:59AM applies)

Various General Summary:
Group Leader is responsible for overseeing and directing the crew performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure daily scheduled plan is being followed and facilitated. Ensure all Maintenance Techs have achieved 80% of their planned work hours for their shift. Performs area walk through of dept to ensure daily work is being conducted. This includes tracking of repairable(s) and the disposition process. At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures. Responsible for providing direction to the crew and equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsible for fabrication or modification of equipment to Leprino specs and standards. Responsible for the installation of new or used equipment. Responsible to promptly respond to any equipment break downs or downtime when applicable. Responsible to assist in shift coverage when applicable. Responsible for all repairs to plant equipment. Able to prioritize work. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment. Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must demonstrate knowledge via standardized maintenance questionnaire. Welding skills including: arc, tig, mig, and oxy/ace. Ability to design, layout and fabricate. Ability to read blue prints and P&ID drawing. Ability to work well with outside contractors. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to operate a forklift. Knowledge of proper safe use of hand tools.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated leadership ability. Lead by Example. Demonstrated strong commitment to safety. Knowledge of GMPs. Must be able to fulfill physical functional requirements of position per ADA Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy. Multitask and decision make.
