As a Field Maintenance Supervisor , you will oversee equipment maintenance, support field operations, and help develop a skilled team while ensuring safe and reliable operations. This is an onsite role that includes travel to field locations during planting and harvest seasons, with extended work schedules and overnight stays away from home as business needs require. What you'll do: Lead and support a team of field mechanics by providing daily direction, coaching, and technical guidance. Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, transportation, and seasonal equipment overhauls to maximize equipment reliability. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and equipment issues while coordinating repairs and replacement parts. Promote a safe work environment by identifying hazards, reinforcing safe work practices, and ensuring equipment is operating safely. Manage equipment projects, including scheduling work, maintaining documentation, and coordinating workloads. During harvest and planting season works 10 - 4 schedule in field locations away from home. Support field operations during planting and harvest by supervising assigned crews and assisting with research and equipment improvement initiatives. What you'll bring: Associate degree in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience leading maintenance teams in an agricultural, industrial, or heavy equipment environment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to read safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and technical documents while communicating effectively with team members and vendors. Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain the required agricultural hazardous materials transportation endorsement. Ability to work independently, train others, operate hand and power tools safely, and lift heavy equipment when needed.
