Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Service Manager for a direct hire opportunity supporting fire protection service operations in the Modesto and Stockton, CA areas. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in portable fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, service operations, technician leadership, routing, inspections, safety, and customer service. The Service Manager will oversee production, staffing, performance, safety, inventory, customer relationships, and service quality across the Northern Region. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee service production across the Modesto and Stockton areas, including technician scheduling, routing efficiency, inspection completion, documentation accuracy, and daily operational support.
  • Lead, train, motivate, and manage production personnel while promoting employee development, safety compliance, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Support customer relationships by resolving disputes, meeting with new and existing customers, conducting worksite surveys, and identifying service challenges.
  • Manage inventory, tools, testing equipment, vehicle maintenance, warehouse accuracy, and calibration requirements to ensure technicians are properly equipped.
  • Generate and update master service agreements, contract work orders, and service agreements for large customers.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable fire protection inspection, testing, maintenance codes, standards, safety regulations, and business requirements. Compensation and Benefits
