Job Description

Overview Our client (Commercial Property Management) is looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to keep their buildings safe, functional, and well maintained. You'll lead property inspections, manage preventive maintenance and vendor relationships, and supervise a team to keep our properties running smoothly. They manage 1 million sqf of commercial building space in the Bay Area. What You'll Do Tour properties regularly to spot repairs, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues Inspect buildings, roofs, and systems for proper function Manage preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems Respond to emergencies and coordinate repairs Supervise maintenance staff and act as the main point of contact for vendors Review and approve invoices; manage work orders in 360Facility Lead monthly safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture What You'll Need 10+ years of facilities technician experience, including 5+ years in facilities management 2+ years of office/administrative experience MUST have previously led a team of maintenance professionals Willingness to get your hands dirty and fix HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues Experience managing BAS (Building Automation System) Strong knowledge of and ability to fix HVAC and plumbing systems Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean recent driving record Ability to lift 40 lbs and climb ladders up to 20 ft Coming from Commercial property management is a huge plus
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
