Description The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here. Job Summary The Assistant General Superintendent manages a group of new fewer than four Area Superintendents with a combined project value of not less than $15 million.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with a supervising General Superintendent to dispatch equipment and personnel to meet the weekly needs of the branch operations. Train with a supervising General Superintendent on higher level branch functions, such as planning for growth in upcoming years, including manpower, equipment, and facility needs to sustain that growth. Think strategically about creative ways to improve productivity and branch functions. Inspect all field work, analyzing and resolving problems Manage labor force to ensure labor budgets are on track Maintain accurate daily and weekly Foremen and Superintendent activity logs; updating production tracking reports and generating other related reports as needed Responsible for dispatch of labor and equipment to job sites Ensure that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, within budget and on schedule Meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of external and internal customers - collaborating with staff to ensure same Work collaboratively with others; fostering a positive "people oriented" environment Evaluate employee safety data and promoting safe work practices or conditions; ensuring employees attend weekly safety meetings Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting Company culture
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 7 years' experience with landscape, concrete, irrigation, and construction production techniques Minimum of 3 years managing and leading construction production teams on a General Contractor level Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred Expert knowledge of construction tools, machinery, and equipment A Bachelor's degree Strong work ethic and effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Customer service experience
Physical Demands/Requirements:
Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling. Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur.
Work Environment:

25-36 BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
