We are always looking to add like-minded individuals to our teams. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage a portfolio of high end student housing properties. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills, flexibility to work at different buildings on a daily basis, and who can manage multiple tasks at once and juggle competing priorities. Maintenance Responsibilities You will be responsible for timely invoicing and accurate records of work completed. You will apply your experience to ensure employee safety while completing work orders, and that work is being completed by qualified personnel. If in-house resources are not qualified for work assigned, evaluate and re-assign the work to a qualified outside vendor Develop Maintenance procedures and schedules. Management, training, and development of onsite maintenance team. Oversee day to day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring work is completed correctly and in a timely manner Will need to be available as needed for after-hours emergencies (on call). Bring your tools needed to properly complete tasks each day Utilize your skills and experience to resolve maintenance issues including; plumbing, electrical, boiler systems, flooring, windows, appliance repair, and more Respond to service requests and work orders, prioritizing in real time Identify maintenance and liability hazards and repair/report to Community Manager Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and units Make all repairs/replacements necessary for apartment to be occupied Assist as needed in other areas of property maintenance including painting, grounds- keeping, trash pick-up, housekeeping, office support, etc. depending on property needs Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
