Planning:
Plans use of subordine workers, equipment, facilities, and merials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by the supervisor. (2)
Work Direction:
Assigns tasks to be performed based on readiness and explains work requirements, methods, and procedures. (3)
Administrion:
Plans and establishes overall leave schedules. Determines training needs of subordines and arranges for accomplishment. (4) Performs the non-supervisory work of the function, as needed, such as performing maintenance and/or inspection tasks on equipment, equipment operions, or other non-supervisory functions. (5) Ensures employee compliance with standing opering procedures established for the activity. Ensures use of quality conformant products through compliance with established merials shelf life programs. (6) Prepares for and participes in various types of readiness evaluions, inspections, mobilizion and command support exercises. (7) Performs other duties as assigned. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Membership in the Colorado Army Nional Guard. Qualificions Military Grades :
E-8 thru W-3 1. Specialized experience used to determine qualificions for the announced position. 2. Experience leading to an extensive knowledge of the mechanical makeup, operion, and working relionships of complex interconnecting systems, assemblies, and parts for a variety of comb, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles, and equipment. 2. Experience diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and modifying interconnected complex systems on a variety of comb, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles, and equipment. 3. Experience working with ste of the art electrical, electronic, complex hydraulic, pneumic, and other major non-mechanical systems th have a functional relionship and effect on the operion of major mechanical systems. 4. Experience with hydraulic lifting, loading, turning, and positioning systems and their mechanical, hydraulic, pneumic, electrical, and electronic controls. 5. Experience developing or improvising methods, altering parts, and making repairs in the absence of technical guidelines (such as modifying parts to fit and mesh into systems for which the parts were not designed); improvise modificions to equipment to correct recurring malfunctions; and design modificions to meet special test requirements or other special needs. 6. Experience which demonstres the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. 7. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. 8. Experience which demonstres the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communice knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. 9. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situions.
