The ability to take and give direction and perform tasks including but not limited to Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Blowing, Weeding must perform minor repairs to equipment in the field and must give great attention to detail.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Minimum of two (2) years of Experience Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory Experience preferred but not required Knowledge of basic landscape maintenance equipment Knowledge of basic maintenance of all equipment associated with landscape maintenance Valid Driver's License w/ good driving record Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to communicate with customer in a professional manner if needed
Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:
Supervisory Drive crews to job site Training and supervision of new employees Ensure crew is producing work in a professional manner and keep to production standards. Communicating progress and issues with Maintenance Manager Ensure the cleanliness of all mowing equipment including truck and trailer Ensure that keys to all equipment and Vehicle get returned to lock box at the end of every shift. Most importantly ensure the overall good appearance of the property assigned 2. Safety Reporting any and all safety issue with equipment including truck and trailer Ensure the security of all equipment on job site and the equipment yard Ensure crew is working and operating equipment safely Ensure that the yard remains a clean and safe environment for all workers
Physical/Environmental Demands:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Flexibility to work in safe but harsh climate (rain, wind, snow, heat)
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or Vocational training and two to three years (2-3) related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid Colorado Driver's license is required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver's license with good driving record No at fault major accidents in the last year No DUI in the past 3 years
