About the Role As a Maintenance Supervisor, you won't just be keeping the lights on — you'll be leading a team, shaping a culture of quality, and playing a hands-on role in making our properties places people are proud to call home. You'll work closely with our Maintenance Managers to keep operations running smoothly while mentoring and developing the talented people around you. We run our operations through Entrata , one of the leading property management platforms in the industry. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with technology and excited to use it as a tool to lead their team more effectively — not just someone who tolerates software, but someone who embraces it. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff through hands-on training and day-to-day guidance Oversee work order completion in Entrata , ensuring maintenance requests are resolved accurately and on time Hold your team accountable for daily time entry in Entrata — accurate, same-day hour logging is a non-negotiable expectation Ensure work order statuses are consistently updated and data is clean and accurate at all times Schedule and assign work activities based on priority, team skill, and available resources Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance and renovation needs before they become problems Ensure a safe work environment through regular safety training and proactive hazard identification Support your team in diagnosing and resolving complex maintenance challenges Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering materials as needed Partner closely with Maintenance Managers to coordinate activities and keep things running smoothly What You Bring 5-7 years of experience in maintenance or a related field High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training strongly preferred) Tech-savvy and comfortable working in property management software — experience with Entrata is a major plus Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Ability to read technical manuals and drawings A natural problem-solver with sharp attention to detail Strong communicator who can connect with and motivate a team Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, climb ladders, and use hand and power tools. May be exposed to hazardous materials. How many years of experience do you have in maintenance or a related field? Have you previously supervised or led a maintenance team? Briefly describe your experience managing or mentoring a maintenance team. How did you hold your team accountable for quality and deadlines? Are you comfortable using property management or work order software to manage your team's daily tasks and time entries? Do you have experience using Entrata or a similar property management platform? This role is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, however our team does occasionally require availability for evening or weekend work as needed.
