The Mancos School District Substitute Support Staff provides temporary operational, clerical, food service, custodial, or maintenance support when regularly assigned staff are absent or when additional assistance is needed. Assignments may include paraprofessional, administrative assistant, kitchen, custodial, maintenance, or other classified support duties. The employee helps maintain safe, respectful, efficient, and student-centered school operations while following district procedures and the direction of the assigned supervisor.

Because assignments vary, an employee will perform only the duties for which the employee has been assigned, trained, and authorized. The employee must be flexible, dependable, able to follow written and verbal directions, and willing to work with students, staff, families, and the public in a professional manner.
