Seeking efficient, organized, technology-savvy, proven leader to oversee the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry departments. The successful candidate will assure that the nursing facility is in good repair, clean, with its equipment in working order with high level of satisfaction from customers and good survey (inspection) outcomes. Amberwoods is a 130-bed beautifully renovated, successful facility providing long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation and Memory Care services, located in Farmington, CT. Conveniently located within proximity to I-84 and is a ten-minute drive to downtown Hartford. We are known for excellent customer service and exceptional care. We are a CMS four-star rated facility. Key Responsibilities:
Is a working manager in the Maintenance Department Shares on call for emergencies Assures building and equipment is in good repair Assures Preventative Maintenance of building and equipment per regulations (TELS system is used) Assures clean and an orderly environment is maintained Assures efficient and safe laundry operation Coordinates and executes projects Hires, trains, directs and evaluates maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff Manages supply and service budgets responsibly
Minimum Qualifications:
