Fleet Tractor Manager

Fleet Tractor Manager M&M Transport is a nationwide dedicated carrier for some of the largest retail, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics companies in the country. With facilities across several states, our fleet comprises over 600 tractors and 5,000 trailers. Our team of drivers, office associates, and diesel technicians deliver unparalleled service to our diverse customer base daily. We are seeking a professional Fleet Manager who oversees our tractor mechanics in the maintenance, repair, modification, and fabrication of repairs to Tractors. Responsibilities to include but not limited to

• Work alongside in-house mechanics to develop and implement an effective preventive maintenance program to minimize unscheduled downtime
• Coordinate and schedule third-party vendors for equipment installations and/or repair.
• Conduct fleet and rolling stock evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met and are in compliance with all regulatory agencies including DOT and OSHA.
• Controls downtime by informing maintenance team of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Providing reports to management on schedules, maintenance and fleet progress.
• Coordinate in-house and outsourced maintenance Required Experience
• Demonstrated experience in fleet procurement or maintenance
• Three or more years of supervisory experience in trailer repair
• Ability to solve problems and make real-time decisions.
• Able to lead employees to perform the highest quality work and exceed expectations.
