Job Description
Wilton Library seeks an experienced, dedicated, hands-on Building Operations Manager. Responsible for daily management and maintenance of building and grounds including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, solar and safety systems. Supervises a staff of four custodial personnel and assists with maintenance duties including landscaping and snow removal. Coordinates with building vendors and oversees repairs and regular maintenance schedules. Coordinates and executes room setups as related to Library programs, book sales and fundraising events. Position requires versatile hands-on management and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks as part of performing maintenance duties. Must be able to work outside during inclement weather, climb ladders, push cart weighing 300 lbs., and carry objects up to 60 pounds. Demonstrates basic computer skills and has a working knowledge of budget preparation. Familiarity with building management system software highly desirable. Knowledge of Spanish a plus.
