Full-time Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repair of building systems including electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), painting, and specific equipment associated with our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Hires and trains maintenance department staff. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules. Develops maintenance procedures and schedules. Takes lead to repair and/or assists in repair of more complex technical issues. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects. Generate purchase requisitions as needed. Review and approve all facilities and repair and maintenance invoices and submit them to AP. Negotiate and maintain up to date equipment and other service contracts. Maintain up to date Facilities' permits and licenses. Solve technical programming issues on controllers in general. Maintain inventory of crucial equipment parts/materials and components Develop and implement ideas to improve equipment performance and efficiency. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive knowledge of building and equipment systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Knowledge of controllers is a strong positive. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed. Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems. Excellent management and supervisory skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
