Senior Manager, Engineering & Maintenance Lakeland, FL Onsite Position Overview The Senior Manager, Engineering & Maintenance is responsible for leading all engineering, maintenance, reliability, and capital improvement activities within a high-volume manufacturing facility. This leader develops and executes maintenance and asset reliability strategies, oversees capital projects, manages department budgets, and drives continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, equipment reliability, production efficiency, and cost performance. The role partners closely with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Engineering leadership while leading both salaried and hourly maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities Lead all plant engineering, maintenance, and equipment reliability operations. Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment uptime, OEE, and asset reliability. Manage capital improvement projects from planning through execution. Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital budgets. Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, CMMS utilization, and contractor management. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions for equipment failures. Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, GMP, and environmental regulations. Partner with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Engineering to improve plant performance. Develop, coach, and mentor maintenance supervisors, engineers, planners, and technicians. Establish department KPIs and drive accountability for safety, cost, quality, and reliability metrics. Support equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and lifecycle management. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 8+ years of engineering and maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing. Experience leading maintenance teams in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Experience managing capital projects and maintenance budgets. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, and utility systems. Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing experience. TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience. Reliability engineering methodologies including RCA, FMEA, and RCM. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience or certification. CMRP or similar maintenance certification. Experience leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay:
$141,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
