Job Description

About the Role As a Facilities and Equipment Lead, you will ensure operational excellence by overseeing the reliability of production machinery and facility infrastructure. You will drive performance by managing maintenance workflows, optimizing equipment uptime, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Direct the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and high-speed packaging systems to maximize production efficiency. Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance development. Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and verify documentation to ensure long-term asset health. Supervise external contractors and vendors to ensure facility projects and installations meet quality standards. Analyze equipment failure patterns to perform root cause analysis and implement permanent technical solutions. Champion safety initiatives and enforce compliance protocols to maintain a secure and productive work environment. Develop capital equipment justifications to modernize technology and reduce operational cycle times. Manage inventory levels and procurement of essential maintenance parts to minimize production downtime. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in industrial maintenance leadership or a similar technical supervisory role. Deep technical knowledge of injection and blow molding machinery. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, project timelines, and vendor relationships. Preferred Skills Advanced certification in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance technology. Experience implementing Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CMMS software for tracking maintenance records and work orders.
