Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Service Director to lead operations for our established auto group in Panama City Beach, FL. This is a leadership role responsible for driving profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across the entire service department. Compensation Roughly $200K/yr Performance-based incentives tied to gross profit improvements Position Overview The Service Director oversees all aspects of the service department, including personnel, processes, and financial performance. This role is critical to ensuring the department operates efficiently, meets manufacturer standards, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all service department operations, including advisors, technicians, and support staff Drive service revenue, gross profit, and overall departmental performance Establish and monitor KPIs (productivity, efficiency, CSI, and retention) Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and effectively resolve escalated concerns Develop and implement processes to improve workflow, scheduling, and turnaround time Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing service team Manage departmental budget, expenses, and forecasting Ensure compliance with OEM standards, warranty guidelines, and company policies Collaborate with parts and sales leadership to support overall dealership success Analyze reports and implement strategies for continuous improvement Qualifications 5+ years of automotive service management experience (Service Manager or Director level preferred) Proven success leading a high-volume dealership service department Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching abilities Track record of driving profitability and CSI performance Strong understanding of dealership operations, KPIs, and fixed operations metrics Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds, etc.) preferred What We're Looking For A hands-on leader who can build culture, accountability, and performance Someone who understands both people leadership and numbers (KPIs, gross, HPRO, ELR, etc.) A professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
