TEAM LEADER - SUPPLY CHAIN
The Maintenance Leader is an elevated hourly team‑member role that serves as the "quarterback" for all maintenance programs on two assigned production lines. This role owns maintenance performance for those lines and is accountable for identifying, correcting, and eliminating maintenance‑related losses while building equipment capability and strengthening operating teams. The Maintenance Leader drives maintenance planning, down‑day and planned‑stop execution, PM and AM effectiveness, and defect resolution. This role partners closely with line teams, Reliability Execution, and Operations leadership to deliver best‑in‑class line performance and embed strong maintenance ways of working.
PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Line Ownership & Performance:
Own maintenance performance for two assigned production lines, including reliability, uptime, and maintenance‑related losses Track, analyze, and eliminate breakdowns, chronic losses, and recurring defects Identify, prioritize, and close line defects with urgency and discipline
Maintenance Planning & Execution:
Lead maintenance planning for assigned lines, including: Down‑day planning, daily planned‑stop planning and execution, & Overhaul readiness Ensure proper PM execution to support equipment reliability and asset health Coach and assess PM and AM standards, solutions, and mitigation strategies
Defect Management & Continuous Improvement :
Track and prioritize resolution of equipment defects identified by line teams Ensure timely corrective actions and follow through Share learnings and insights with the Reliability Execution Team to improve standards and future designs
Capability Building & Peer Coaching :
Track and prioritize resolution of equipment defects identified by line teams Share learnings and insights with the Reliability Execution Team to improve standards and future designs
Operating Rhythm & Collaboration :
Participate in Line DDS, Line Structure Team meetings, and shift huddles Serve as the key maintenance voice in daily and weekly operating rhythms Partner with Operations, Reliability, and Maintenance teams to ensure aligned execution
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
18 years or older
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Strong understanding of safety, quality, and operational standards Ability to lead peers and influence performance without formal authority Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Willingness to take accountability for shift performance Previous experience in a lead operator, team lead, or similar front-line leadership role Experience working with daily management systems (DDS, tier meetings, or similar) Knowledge of continuous improvement or IWS / Lean manufacturing concepts Technical maintenance experience Exposure to equipment troubleshooting, PM/AM systems, or mechanical processes Our Company will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws, including but not limited to, San Francisco Police Code Sections 4901-4919, commonly referred to as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance; and Chapter XVII, Article 9 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code, commonly referred to as the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
