Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Lead Maintenance Technician to lead our multi-site apartment maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the upkeep and operational efficiency of our renovated units and full amenity properties, ensuring all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally. Your leadership will drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage maintenance activities, coordinate projects, and foster a culture of excellence in apartment management. Duties Supervise daily maintenance operations, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and plumbing systems. Lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of work quality and safety compliance. Develop and implement maintenance schedules daily and quarterly to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime Manage projects related to property upgrades or equipment installations by coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to maintenance, electrical systems, and plumbing operations Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventories for audit purposes Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising maintenance teams in an multifamily environment HVAC Certification up to date Plumbing experience in multifamily facets Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in safety standards Fluency in English with strong communication skills to collaborate across departments effectively Join us as a Lead Maintenance Technician where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly!
