Job Description
Operational Leadership
- Direct daily operations of the Tire and Lube center, ensuring timely and accurate service for commercial trucks.
- Manage workflow, assign tasks, and monitor productivity to meet service standards.
- Maintain inventory of tires, lubricants, tools, and shop supplies; coordinate ordering and vendor relationships.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all tools and machinery are in safe working condition. Team Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise technicians and service staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability. Customer Service
- Greet and assist drivers, fleet managers, and walk‑in customers with professionalism.
- Provide accurate service estimates, explain recommended services, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve service issues or complaints promptly and effectively. Financial & Administrative Duties
- Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and operational expenses to meet profitability goals.
- Prepare reports, track KPIs, and manage budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and environmental standards. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free shop environment.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of oils, lubricants, and other regulated materials.
