Position Overview The Manager of Machine and Facility Maintenance leads all building, machinery, preventive maintenance, and facilities management activities at the GEDIA Georgia plant. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum machine availability, facility safety, and efficient operation of critical production equipment. The position oversees maintenance strategy, long‑term investment planning, facilities improvements, and adherence to
ISO 16949
requirements within the maintenance department. The Manager leads a dedicated team of maintenance professionals and collaborates closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and global GEDIA partners. This role is critical to ensuring stable production, robust maintenance processes, and a safe, compliant working environment. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Facility Leadership Lead and manage all Machine and Facility Maintenance department functions. Oversee machine and building management activities, including: Preventive and predictive maintenance Mechanical, electrical, and facility systems support Contractor coordination and facility service providers Infrastructure planning, utilities, and plant systems Implement and maintain

compliance within the maintenance organization. Establish annual departmental goals, KPIs, and performance targets. Ensure adherence to cost budgets, timelines, and technical requirements. Plan and manage departmental resources, including staffing, training, and capital expenditure. Process, Systems & Continuous Improvement Develop and standardize maintenance processes, procedures, and documentation. Define and monitor KPIs to continuously improve reliability and equipment uptime. Lead problem‑solving activities, corrective actions, and improvement projects. Support the introduction of new equipment, production technologies, and facility systems. Evaluate, select, and implement suitable IT, maintenance, building, and production systems to support efficient operations. Cross‑Functional & External Collaboration Represent Machine and Facility Maintenance internally and externally, including with: Customers Suppliers and technical service providers Industry groups, educational institutions, and project partners Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure seamless operational support. Support major strategic projects impacting facilities, machinery, or long‑term maintenance planning. Compliance, Safety & Organizational Support Uphold and promote safety, accident prevention, and facility compliance requirements. Ensure proactive identification and mitigation of risks to personnel, equipment, and property. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company standards and regulations. Ensure effective communication across departments and within the maintenance team. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable technical field. 10+ years of professional experience in maintenance, facility management, or production support within the automotive or automotive supply industry. Strong background in machine and building management, production processes, purchasing, and related operational functions. Leadership experience across multiple organizational levels. Technical & Professional Skills Strong technical and process-oriented expertise. Experience developing and implementing maintenance systems and standards. Ability to train, coach, and develop personnel. Proficient with modern IT tools and systems used in maintenance and facility management. Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple complex initiatives. Personal & Social Competencies Strong leadership presence and ability to drive change. High communication skills and conflict‑resolution capability. Innovative, constructive, and solutions‑oriented mindset. High resilience, professional demeanor, and cultural competence.
