Shop Foreman Location:
Douglas, GA Job Description We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead and oversee daily operations at our facility in Douglas, GA. The ideal candidate will have proven foreman experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to meet production goals and deadlines. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies. Monitor workflow and assign tasks to team members based on skill and workload. Train, mentor, and evaluate shop staff to promote skill development and performance improvement. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and repair schedules are followed. Communicate effectively with management regarding progress, issues, and resource needs. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Qualifications Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within a shop or manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
