Job Description

CITY OF DUDLEY NOW HIRING - MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT
The City of Dudley is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as Maintenance Superintendent.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daily operations of the City's maintenance department. Supervising one direct-report employee. Mowing and maintaining city-owned properties and rights-of-way. Locating, repairing, and maintaining water lines and related infrastructure. Overseeing water meter readings and utility-related operations. Maintaining a working knowledge of the City's water and sewer systems. Responding to water leaks, sewer issues, and utility emergencies. Operating and maintaining maintenance equipment, tools, and city vehicles. Coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring city infrastructure is properly maintained.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in municipal maintenance, public works, utilities, construction, or a related field preferred. Valid Georgia driver's license required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor. Water and wastewater certifications are a plus but not required. Pay is based on experience and/or certifications.
