Grounds Maintenance (Landscape) Manager

Duties Supervise daily landscaping and groundskeeping operations, including lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation, and general maintenance tasks Coordinate and assign work to grounds staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance Manage scheduling of irrigation systems, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and seasonal clean-up activities Train team members in horticultural techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized services like tree care or landscape installation Skills Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or related fields Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide teams Skilled in tree care techniques including pruning and health assessment Familiarity with irrigation systems setup and troubleshooting Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools and equipment Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders This role is perfect for someone passionate about outdoor environments who thrives on leading teams to deliver exceptional grounds management.
