URGENTLY HIRING - INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR IF YOU ARE A COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIAN, YOU DO NOT QUALIFIY FOR THIS POSITION.
Career Recruiting Specialists is partners with a major manufacturing company located in Macon, GA. We are seeking an experienced mechanical/Electrical industrial maintenance supervisor. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Industrial supervisor in a manufacturing environment. Summary Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Supervisor directs and controls the activities of the Maintenance function to ensure that all production and support equipment is maintained at levels that are as efficient and reliable as possible. Ensures that the facility itself is maintained and is a safe work environment. Roles and Responsibilities Supervises and directs the maintenance function to ensure that plant and equipment continue to be efficient and reliable. Minimizes unscheduled downtime by monitoring and resolving reoccurring issues Conducts an effective PM and RCM programs by monitoring procedures, frequency of service, etc. Ensures equipment PM is prioritized in such a way to minimize production losses, resulting from both scheduled and unscheduled downtime Provides technical assistance to the maintenance employees in troubleshooting and problem solving. Interacts with outside contractors and spare parts suppliers. Supervises Storeroom functions Assists and supports department manager Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork. Performs all other duties as assigned. Strives to clearly understand customer requirements and delivers results to meet or exceed customer expectations. Ability and responsibility to stop any process that is not meeting safety requirements. Ability and responsibility to stop any process that is not meeting customer quality requirements. Required Skills Must be a leader with exceptional communication skills, good organization, and the ability to motivate people to perform at high levels. Required Experience Production experience is required and continued education is considered a plus. Must be quality conscious and customer oriented. A minimum of a technical degree is preferred or relative experience. Qualifications Associate (Preferred) Lean manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
