MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc. is an established nationwide manufacturer seeking a highly organized and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of the maintenance department in our Council Bluffs, IA production facility. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing a team of 5 to 7 manufacturing maintenance mechanics and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment & facilities to support production operations which include extrusion machinery, electrical & mechanical building systems, painting, welding, fabrication, implementation, oversite of preventative maintenance, and working with the engineering department on projects and capital budgets.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs needed. Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules. Develop maintenance procedures and schedules. Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs for specific repair projects. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Commitment to promoting a safe working environment. High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent certification/experience required. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems. Welding and forklift maintenance experience preferred. Previous experience with Preventative Maintenance Programs and Root Cause Analysis. Industrial experience with mechanical and electrical systems (PLC Troubleshooting), RS Linx, S Logic, and Studio 5000. Good organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Troubleshooting and repair of equipment and machinery, including electrical. Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills. Previous management, supervisory, and project management experience preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance. Physically able to perform and assist with repairs when needed.
