Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee our maintenance team during the evening and night shifts at our Denison, Iowa facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant's equipment and facilities. You'll manage a skilled team of mechanics and electricians, guiding them through preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and boost productivity. This includes coaching staff in best practices and safety precautions, coordinating maintenance schedules with production teams, and developing robust maintenance strategies and systems. You'll also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures, providing sustainable solutions, and maintaining compliance with USDA regulations. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will establish and report on key performance indicators to the maintenance management team, ensuring high standards of equipment effectiveness and operations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, at least two years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role, and substantial skills in problem-solving, communication, and technical operations. Flexibility for long hours and weekend work may be required, as well as advanced expertise in areas like ammonia refrigeration or high-pressure boilers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and bilingual abilities are considered a plus.
