Industrial Maintenance Manager Dyersville Die Cast — Dyersville, IA $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Full-Time | 1st
Shift Pay:
Competitive, based on experience Dyersville Die Cast is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and support our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, facility maintenance, maintenance technicians, outside contractors, and maintenance-related improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and manufacturing maintenance management. This position requires a leader who can balance office management responsibilities with hands-on support on the plant floor. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, train, and support maintenance technicians and maintenance support personnel. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, development, and succession planning for maintenance employees. Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs for machinery, equipment, facilities, and support systems. Support troubleshooting and repair activities involving industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and production equipment. Work closely with production, engineering, EHS, and plant leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and reduce equipment downtime. Coordinate outside contractors, vendors, and subcontractors as needed. Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance work instructions, PM procedures, and department standards. Track and report maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion, response time, equipment reliability, and repair trends. Manage maintenance parts, supplies, outside services, and department-related expenses. Work directly with our Operations and Engineering leadership teams to support budgeting, capital projects, equipment improvements, and long-term maintenance planning. Maintain and enforce 5S standards within the maintenance department, maintenance work areas, tool rooms, parts storage areas, and assigned equipment areas. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, urgency, organization, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department. Work with EHS personnel to ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, industrial maintenance, operations, or a related technical field. Prior experience leading, supervising, or managing maintenance technicians or technical teams. Strong knowledge of industrial equipment repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability. Experience with industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and facility maintenance. Experience managing department budgets, maintenance costs, parts inventory, or outside contractor expenses preferred. Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on maintenance leadership experience will be considered. Preferred Experience PLC, robotics, automation, CNC, die cast, foundry, or heavy industrial manufacturing experience. Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance systems. Experience developing PM schedules, maintenance KPIs, work instructions, and technician training plans. Experience working in a hands-on maintenance leadership role. Compensation Salary is based on experience and qualifications. This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus . Bonus eligibility, payment schedule, and repayment terms, if applicable, will be discussed during the offer process. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on goals and performance expectations established between you and the General Manager. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
