Palmer Group's client, a family-owned business, is seeking a driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and ensure equipment, facilities, and teams perform at their best. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work Model:

  • Monday
  • Thursday, 6:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM
  • Friday 6:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM or later if needed, based on demand
What You Will Do:
  • Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team, including hiring and succession planning
  • Oversee the preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime
  • Ensure safe, reliable operation of all equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate contractors and manage vendor relationships
  • Partner with leadership and EHS to promote a strong safety culture
  • Develop maintenance standards, KPIs, and improvement initiatives
  • Manage the maintenance budget and parts inventory

Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ years managing a maintenance department
  • 5+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or operations
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing budgets
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
