Job Description
Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a skilled Multi Service Operations Manager to support a manufacturing client in Iowa City, Iowa . In this role, you will oversee the daily planning, scheduling, and coordination of preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility projects at a large manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in facilities and budget management, critical systems, hard and soft services, and vendor oversight. We're looking for a proven leader with experience managing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. What You'll Do Oversee preventative, proactive, and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and critical systems, utilizing skilled contracted teams. Administer and optimize the CMMS work order system to track maintenance tasks, improve workflow, and ensure timely completion. Supervise vendor contracts and relationships, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to agreed-upon terms and performance standards. Manage the operations and maintenance budget, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Promote a safe work environment through regular audits, safety training, and consistent communication, while monitoring contractor performance and conducting evaluations. What You Bring Proven track record of effective facilities management with measurable results and accomplishments 3 years of maintenance management experience, ideally within a corporate or manufacturing setting Solid technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Experience managing contracts and vendors and ensuring quality service delivery Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive operational efficiency Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills with a focus on team development and relationship building Who We Are At Sodexo, our purpose is to create a better everyday for everyone and build a better life for all.
