Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all facility equipment and infrastructure within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will develop maintenance schedules, manage resources effectively, and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime. This role requires close collaboration with other departments to support operational goals and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all maintenance operations contribute to the overall productivity and longevity of the facility's assets.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance roles. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to maintenance operations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical certifications (e.g., OSHA, HVAC, electrical). Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders to ensure timely resolution. Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost control. Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to restore operations quickly and safely.Skills:
