company) is looking to hire a Maintenance Manager for our manufacturing facility based in Mason City, Iowa. You will play a key role in ensuring all plant equipment is maintained and in good operating condition to minimize downtime, optimize production and machine up-time while ensuring that all applicable safety, loss prevention, and other guidelines are followed. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of plant equipment and systems, as well as the facilities and grounds.
You would also:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including the work order and Project Management database. Directly supervise the activities and performance of the plant maintenance team including planning, training and developing, as well as, providing regular performance feedback. Respond to maintenance calls and ensure that equipment is properly repaired. Work with cross-functional teams to minimize production downtime on day-to-day operation as well as varying projects. Support continuous improvement initiatives by planning and executing equipment installations, moves, or reconfigurations. Implement effective procedures for maintaining the condition of all production equipment, infrastructure, facilities, and grounds. Work with Management Team to ensure that work requests are prioritized. Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives by performing preventive and predictive maintenance, identifying equipment improvement opportunities, and collaborating with operations to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Implement, monitor, and update a preventative maintenance program to align with production requirements. Analyze data to determine true maintenance costs of individual pieces of equipment and develop proposals to minimize future costs. Coordinate and plan outside inspections to meet local legislative requirements. Source and coordinate outside contractors for work as required, ensuring that they follow all company guidelines for safety, quality, loss prevention, etc. Participate as a management member on the Safety and Emergency Response Team Perform special assignments and projects as assigned. Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the

Code of Conduct The Skills and Experience you need: GED or High School diploma required. Advanced degree or certification in Industrial Mechanics, Engineering, or a related field would be a plus. 5-10 years' experience in a maintenance management role in a manufacturing environment Experience using a work order system such as Thrive. Possess analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrated track-record of collaboration on projects, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities Effective and efficient use of CMMS systems, including databases and search functionality Strong project management and leadership skills to effectively manage daily, monthly and quarterly PM's and scheduled maintenance outages. Be able to provide after-hours support and guidance to the maintenance and engineering teams. What we offer!
