Norwalk, IA Join Produce Innovations/Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Plant Maintenance Manager based out of our food processing plant in Norwalk, IA. Produce Innovations is a leader in fresh-cut produce processing, specializing in the preparation and packaging of fresh-cut, all-natural snacks. As a Plant Maintenance Manager , you will lead and direct the plant's maintenance function in a dynamic 24/6 operation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly Quality Assurance and Operations, to promote and support food safety, product quality, and operational efficiency. You will also play a key role in developing your team through coaching, training, and hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. This is a critical position responsible for ensuring equipment effectiveness, proper maintenance protocols, and the overall upkeep of the facility and grounds.

What we look for:
A minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience in maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, including the ability to read schematics. Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to foster collaboration across teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment management. What you'll do:
SAFETY FIRST.
Must be able to safely operate plant equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines Provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance team in a 24-hour, 6-day week operation. Actively promote and support food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation standards, collaborating with Quality Assurance, plant management, and employees to ensure compliance. Evaluate the skills and abilities of maintenance personnel; establish training programs to foster growth and development. Troubleshoot machinery and process systems during breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime by coordinating preventive maintenance and repair work with production and packaging supervisors. Maintain positive and effective communication with plant management, supervisors, service groups, and employees to ensure smooth operational processes. Manage all maintenance and technical needs for the facility and grounds, ensuring all systems operate at optimal performance. Implement corrective actions using key maintenance performance indicators to improve overall equipment effectiveness. Stay current with industry regulations, codes, and best practices related to mechanical and electrical systems. Engage in planning, evaluating, organizing, and delegating tasks to ensure the effective operation of the maintenance team.
