Job Description

SHOP FOREMAN / LEAD AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
Oswald Service & Repair - Idaho Falls, ID Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 No Weekends $80,000 to $100,000+ We're looking for the technician everyone naturally walks over to. The one who doesn't mind answering a question. The one who enjoys watching younger technicians figure something out instead of just giving them the answer. The one who still loves turning wrenches. Because at Oswald Service & Repair, our foremen are working foremen. You'll still diagnose cars. You'll still produce hours. You'll still have grease under your fingernails at the end of the day. You'll just help make everyone around you better while you're doing it. Why we're hiring We're opening a brand-new 12-bay facility this September. Several members of our current team will be moving into that shop, which means we're growing our team across both Idaho Falls locations. This isn't replacing someone who quit. It's creating room for the next chapter of a business that's been serving this community since 1939. What we're hoping you bring You're already an excellent technician. Maybe you've become the person everyone asks for help. Maybe you've trained apprentices. Maybe you've been the unofficial shop leader for years. Now you're looking for a place that values that. We're especially interested in someone with strong diagnostic ability and experience with European vehicles, diesel, or both. But here's the important part. We're building those specialties. That means some days you'll be diagnosing a BMW. Other days you'll be working on a Silverado. If you're the type of technician who enjoys solving problems regardless of what's on the lift, you'll fit right in. If you're only interested in touching one brand, this probably isn't your shop. Here's what you'll find A team that helps each other instead of competing with each other. Managers who ask for input before making decisions. Recognition for doing great work. Quarterly training. Modern equipment. A company that's growing because they've spent decades earning trust, not because private equity bought another shop. Compensation & Benefits $80,000-$100,000+ Performance-based earning opportunities Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 No weekends Paid training 401(k) with 4% match Paid holidays and PTO Uniforms provided and laundered Monthly Aflac reimbursement that can be used toward dental, vision, and other eligible Aflac products $50 per month after 90 days $100 per month after 2 years $150 per month after 3 years If you're looking for the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing company while still doing the work you love, we'd like to meet you. Questions? Contact hiring@autoignitemanagement.com Please do not contact the shop directly, thank you!
