Job Description

Pro-Mow Lawn Care & Landscaping is hiring a crew lead for our enhancement crew. Our enhancement crew is responsible for general landscape maintenance such as mulch installation, shrub pruning, general clean ups, landscape bed maintenance, etc. As a crew leader, you will help set the tone for your crew and ensure the work is done to standards before leaving the job site. Candidates must have recent, applicable work experience. Previous landscape experience is preferred but not required.
Job Summary:
Hold yourself and your team member accountable for providing professional landscape maintenance services. Ensure the 'Pro-Mow Standard' is met before leaving the job site each day. Enhance curb appeal by maintaining landscaped areas, applying pre and post emergent vegetation control, pruning shrubs, applying mulch, and aerating/overseeding lawns.
Availability:
Flexible availability is required. 40+ hrs/week, Monday-Thursday (Fridays & Saturdays are required as needed) Typical schedule is 10 hr/day, 4 days/week (7am - 5:30pm). Actual hours may vary depending on workload and weather. Reliable transportation, a clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required. Main Duties Understand and hold team accountable to Pro-Mow's standard of work Identify and efficiently treat problem areas in a customer's landscape for overall health and curb appeal Pull weeds in landscape beds and remove from the property Cut and remove dead branches of shrubs, dead head perennials as needed Identify weeds and turf grass diseases Have a basic understanding of perennials, shrubs, trees Remove trash from landscaped areas and parking lots Install mulch to landscaped areas Prune trees and shrubs utilizing power equipment, includes utilizing a pole trimmer and ladder Always use proper PPE and safety protocols Apply vegetation control to gravel areas, parking lots, pavements, landscape beds (only if licensed) Properly maintain spreader, sprayer and handheld equipment Track product usage to ensure correct amounts are being applied Understand property boundary lines, landmarks, etc Utilize a company vehicle and trailer, some use of power equipment such as aerator, hedge trimmer, etc. Utilize company phone and mobile scheduling app. Always provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service when engaging with customers, coworkers, or community members On occasion, perform small scale projects such as planting or general clean ups

From $19.00 per hour
