Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor, where you will lead and coordinate maintenance operations at our Class A community to ensure optimal living environments for residents. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise, management skills, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. You will oversee maintenance staff, manage repair projects, and ensure all facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. Your proactive approach will contribute to resident satisfaction and the overall success of the property management team. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), mechanical systems, and general repairs. Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment. Hands on repairs Make sure all units a market ready to pass City inspections Oversee preventative maintenance programs Manage vendor relationships Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical work, facilities management protocols, and local regulations. Plan and execute maintenance projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize the Entrata Facilities app assign and complete work orders Qualifications Proven supervisory experience in facilities management with a strong background in managing teams. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems—both low voltage and high voltage—and HVAC systems. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work (including high voltage) and general facilities safety protocols. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving in maintenance. $28.00 per hour
