We're looking for a hands-on, dependable, and caring Maintenance Director to join our team! In this role, you'll take the lead in keeping our building safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents and staff. Your work directly impacts the quality of life for those who call our community home — and we take that to heart.
What You'll Do:
Oversee all day-to-day maintenance operations for the facility and grounds. Lead, schedule, and support your maintenance team to ensure work is completed efficiently and with pride. Manage preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure everything is safe, clean, and in great working order. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for repairs, inspections, and projects. Maintain up-to-date records and documentation to stay in compliance with state, federal, and life safety regulations. Respond quickly and calmly to maintenance needs or emergencies as they arise. Partner with the Administrator and other department leaders to make sure our building supports the very best resident care experience.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of maintenance experience — healthcare or long-term care experience a big plus! Strong knowledge of general building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry). Prior supervisory or leadership experience. Someone who's organized, reliable, and takes pride in their work. A team player who enjoys pitching in and creating a positive environment for residents and staff. Familiarity with OSHA, life safety codes, and regulatory standards preferred.
