Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Construction and Building Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role involves performing comprehensive maintenance and repair tasks across various building systems, ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, electrical experience, and proficiency with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of our infrastructure through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervisory oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC components Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuits Manage facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry, and general repairs Oversee maintenance activities in manufacturing or industrial environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations Support customer service efforts by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally Requires a standard Driver's License to travel to and from work sites (mileage is covered) Experience Candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive background in facilities maintenance with a focus on construction or building systems . Prior supervisory experience is highly valued.
The ideal applicant will have:
Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting with schematics and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Mechanical knowledge applicable to HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building repairs Experience in residential painting or similar finishing trades is a plus Knowledge of manufacturing environments or industrial facilities operations Excellent communication skills in English for effective team collaboration and customer interaction Demonstrated leadership capabilities in supervising maintenance teams or projects If you are motivated by maintaining high standards of facility performance through technical expertise and leadership, we encourage you to apply for this dynamic role. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
