Job Description

This position will manage and direct all Maintenance and spare parts activities and ensure technical support to the manufacturing group. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Managing, coaching and directing all Maintenance Technicians. Develop Maintenance level and policies and procedures. Responsible for developing and implementing a Predictive Maintenance schedule. Manage storeroom and spare parts inventory levels to prevent critical breakdown. Responsible for scheduling repairs to minimize production interruptions and equipment downtime. Responsible for leading the reduction of unplanned downtime by directing preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities. Responsible for determining critical machines for downtime and risk assessment based on production and countermeasure. Negotiate with outside contractors to ensure best solution for equipment and facilities repairs. Experience with equipment maintenance and repair (mechanical and electrical). Emergency equipment repair and troubleshooting. Oversee equipment and facilities electrical maintenance. Oversee pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical maintenance on equipment. Responsible for Zero NG activity - track all NG's with follow up of countermeasures. Develop and document training for manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure operators are properly trained on basic maintenance procedures. Ensure plant and OSHA safety requirements, production utilization goals, and facilities support is met through proper maintenance planning. Coordinate with other departments to ensure EPA compliance. Responsible for meeting department budget. Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Supervisor or Mangement. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lead, motivate and manage others Knowledge of electronic automotive manufacturing. Knowledge of the Toyota Production System and JIT. Electrical Engineering knowledge. Excellent written communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Excellent cooperative personality. Short term notice business travel. Overseas business travel. Ability to work 2 shifts. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Ability to interact and work as a team at all levels of the organization. Ability to understand, follow and implement posted work rules and company procedures. Ability to accept constructive criticism and grow/change. Ability to work with members from multi national backgrounds. Will perform other related tasks within the company required by the Supervisor or Management.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or related field 5 years of prior applicable experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment Electronics experience desired Automotive experience required Valid passport for travel required for travel
