Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. This leadership role involves managing a team of technicians and maintenance staff to ensure the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of all plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and facilities management. They will be responsible for implementing maintenance strategies, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence and reliability. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance programs for all plant machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance staff, ensuring timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols by conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools, coordinate procurement in collaboration with suppliers.
- Train staff on new procedures or equipment operation to enhance team capabilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities for audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of Maintenance Manager experience.
- Knowledge of automobile and forklift preventative maintenance.
- Proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proven management experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical wiring (including high and low voltage), mechanical components, and facilities management.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team supervision, motivation, and development.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in industrial maintenance operations.
- The ability to be flexible to work nights or weekends on occasion.
