Maintenance Director About the Role Maywood Supportive Living is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Director to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the overall maintenance and repair of our community, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for both residents and staff. You'll partner closely with the operations team to address maintenance needs efficiently and proactively. This position plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations and long-term success of our community. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in maintenance management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in senior living, healthcare, or supportive living environments Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Budget management experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of maintenance operations, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and service requests Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules Lead, train, and support maintenance and housekeeping team members Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs Skills for Success In this role, you will bring a hands-on leadership approach while guiding a high-performing team. Your technical knowledge across building systems will support effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, while your communication and collaboration skills will ensure alignment with leadership and timely resolution of community needs.
