Manufacturing Company Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on stamping presses and other production machinery. This role also supports overall facilities maintenance to ensure efficient operations and continual improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on stamping presses and other production machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to restore equipment to working order. Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance checks on a scheduled basis to prevent equipment breakdowns. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs. Collaborate with Plant Supervisors and Machine Operators to troubleshoot production floor issues. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout protocols. Assist with general plant maintenance, including HVAC, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

Ideally 5+ years of experience in stamping press maintenance. Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Proficiency with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and reading blueprints and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with Smart Manufacturing Platforms and Excel is recommended. Awareness of IATF 16949 and

ISO 14001

standards. This position is commutable from Chicago, La Grange, Brookfield, Western Springs, Burr Ridge, Berwyn, Summit, Elmhurst, Westmont, Oak Brook, Maywood, Downer's Grove, and Bridgeview.
