We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading a skilled maintenance team to support safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience, hands-on knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, and a proven ability to implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians while promoting a strong safety culture. Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related equipment issues. Maintain and improve the reliability of manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and productivity. Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions. Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships. Coordinate installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and facility improvements. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards. Develop and maintain maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion, and equipment reliability metrics. Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent maintenance leadership experience will also be considered. 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience troubleshooting and supporting PLC-based automated equipment is required. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance planning and work order management. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and maintenance best practices. Experience with capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
