JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing a defined product line or work unit in a department assuming entire span of operation (24/7). A Manager is expected to maintain educational and skill levels necessary to function as staff. Is actively engaged and models the skills and behaviors of the 9 Studer Principles leading to an outcome of organizational excellence. A Manager may be responsible for budget planning and oversight. Reports to either an Administrative Director or Director. Is an active advocate of Blessing Health System in the community. This position is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Power Plant and Grounds Departments at all facilities, developing and maintaining capital and operating budgets and filing annual EPA emission reports for boilers. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED
A minimum of 5 years experience in boiler maintenance and operations, possessing knowledge of state certification of boilers and ancillary equipment. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a supervisory role. Bachelor's Degree in a technical/business related field
PREFERRED
Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance with ability to implement facility/grounds maintenance program ensuring well maintained lawn, landscape, and facility.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
