Position Summary The Lead Maintenance Technician will oversee and perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery, Manufacturing equipment, and facility systems. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to ensure uptime and reliability of all manufacturing and facility assets. Key Responsibilities Lead daily maintenance operations, providing guidance and technical support to maintenance technicians. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance in the CMMS system. Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Train maintenance staff on proper repair techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation. Coordinate vendor and contractor maintenance activities when required. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial or equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Experience with casting or heavy industrial machinery strongly preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
