Position Overview Countryside is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Production Manager to lead our landscape maintenance division. This position is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, supervising crews, scheduling work, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who enjoys working outdoors, developing employees, and building long-term customer relationships while maintaining beautiful landscapes. Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership & Daily Operations Supervise and lead multiple landscape maintenance crews. Conduct daily crew meetings and assign work. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and training. Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment. Scheduling & Production Develop and manage daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance schedules. Coordinate staffing, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency. Adjust schedules due to weather, emergencies, or customer requests. Ensure all work is completed on time and to company standards. Quality Control Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally. Train crews on proper pruning, mulching, mowing, bed maintenance, and horticultural practices. Maintain high standards of appearance and attention to detail. Customer Service Meet with customers regarding maintenance needs and enhancements. Conduct property walkthroughs and recommend improvements. Build strong, long-term relationships with maintenance clients. Communicate professionally with customers throughout the season. Operations & Administration Work closely with the Office Manager on scheduling and route planning. Assist with estimating maintenance contracts and enhancement opportunities. Track labor, equipment, and material usage. Maintain accurate job documentation and reports. Support the use of Aspire or other company management software. Safety & Equipment Ensure all crews follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Monitor vehicle and equipment maintenance. Promote safe work practices and proper equipment operation. Maintain organized and efficient shop and equipment areas. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of landscape maintenance experience. Previous experience supervising crews. Strong knowledge of plant identification, pruning, turf care, and horticultural practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple crews and changing priorities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Illinois Pesticide Applicator License Experience with Aspire or similar landscape management software Snow management experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Leads by example.
