This role puts you at the center of operations, leading maintenance teams, solving problems fast, and ensuring everything stays safe, efficient, and on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily work for maintenance staff Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company standards (OSHA, GMP, etc.) Support goals related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost Manage preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members Handle employee performance, including feedback and discipline Provide tools, resources, and support to maintenance technicians Recommend improvements to equipment, processes, and materials Participate in daily production/operations meetings Report daily maintenance updates to the Maintenance Manager Manage inventory to ensure parts availability Complete additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing Food & beverage industry experience (preferred) Strong technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical, PLCs, boilers, etc.) Experience with maintenance systems and preventive maintenance programs (preferred) Leadership and problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
