In this pivotal role, you will manage maintenance teams, coordinate repair and installation projects, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures, uphold safety regulations, and ensure facilities meet the highest standards of functionality and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about facility management, team leadership, and technical excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repair, installation, and preventive maintenance tasks. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry best practices. Oversee the management of mechanical systems such as HVAC, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing, and other building infrastructure. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and analyze system performance data. Conduct engineering troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues with mechanical or electrical systems. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards by maintaining a safe work environment through regular safety audits and training sessions. Manage facilities maintenance budgets, procurement of parts (including HVAC system repair parts), and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency. Review facility schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to facilitate effective repairs and upgrades. Monitor project progress from planning through execution while coordinating with contractors or external service providers as needed. Enforce safety regulations during all maintenance activities to protect team members and facility occupants. Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Experience managing projects using project management principles; ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to industrial facilities; ability to implement safety protocols effectively. Experience working with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage facilities maintenance teams while fostering a safety-conscious environment. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting.
