Maintenance Supervisor Job Description This role oversees maintenance operations in a large manufacturing facility, leading a team of technicians to ensure equipment runs at peak efficiency. The Maintenance Supervisor manages preventive and reactive maintenance activities, supports capital expansion efforts, and ensures maintenance work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and provide clear direction on daily tasks and priorities. Assign preventive maintenance, project work, and reactive maintenance tasks to the maintenance team. Develop the skills and capabilities of the maintenance team in collaboration with other supervisors. Participate in hiring additional maintenance team members as needed to support growth and expansion. Serve as the primary point of contact when critical maintenance issues arise and ensure timely resolution. Monitor and control job costs to ensure maintenance activities remain within established budgets. Ensure the maintenance team keeps all equipment operating at peak efficiency and reliability. Oversee adherence to maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs. Support the successful execution of capital expansion projects by coordinating maintenance resources and activities. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of La Porte, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
